Sara has been working in community health and wellness for the last decade. She has over 500 hours of yoga training and holds her certification in Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) from the Center for Trauma and Embodiment in Boston, MA. She is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner In Training, at the Advanced Level with the Somatic Experiencing® Trauma Institute. She has her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is a LPCC (Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate) with the state of Colorado. For the past three years Sara has worked in crisis and trauma intervention, developed programming for women & children in high conflict environments, and created women empowerment groups to break the cycle of trauma patterning.
Sara’s true passion lies with creating access to mental health and wellness services for all communities. She believes in creating safe spaces for people to come as they are with all that they are. Her hope is to make someone's healing & wellness journey fully possible without limitation. She believes in the mind-body connection and has witnessed the profound healing that can be facilitated by using the two in the journey to wellness.
