Kat was born an explorer and true to her soul has painted a life of adventure, diving head first into foreign lands and braving her heart through some of life’s biggest teachers. Her first door into the healing arts was with yoga more than a decade ago, starting out as just a nice complement to running and soccer. When she lost her father suddenly to pneumonia at age 25, she found herself practicing daily, working through both profound grief and big questions about life, death and our purpose between the two. Curious to understand and know peace and acceptance within, she kept practicing and began to study with teachers and healers from all over the world.
In 2014, she opened Yoga Room Cusco, a project that touched the lives of locals and expats for three years. Kat’s yoga classes are creative combinations of inspiration and the heart felt transfer of wisdom from all of the Masters who have guided her way. Drawing from the magic of all schools, Kat is honored to meet fellow curious souls on their mat and together draw the breath into an intimate, profound and deep exploration of consciousness.
After nine years abroad, she felt complete with her work in Perú, and moved to Boulder with her two dogs and two cats to further her study in the healing arts. In Boulder, she offers Massage Therapy at The Dragon Tree Holistic Day Spa on Pearl Street and at Hummingbird Community Acupuncture Clinic on Arapahoe Avenue. She also offers Mobile Massage or Craniosacral Therapy in the comfort of your own home.
